- This beautiful solid, native Kauri chopping board has been sourced and upcycled from one of Aotearoa NZ’s most beautiful yet rare, native timbers
- Carved with a unique koru shaped handle for easy handling and transferring of foods
- Nail holes, cracks, dings and small amounts of bora are just some of the characteristics these ancient woods may contain. These have either been naturally treated, filled or reinforced if we have seen the need to do so, always mindful of maintaining their original character
- All our boards and blocks are sealed with a special heated oil/wax blend for maximum penetration and protection of the wood which is done in two stages. This blend is 100% organic and food safe
